SAMPLE LETTER
Feel free to use portions of our letter, but please add some original thoughts. Hundreds of identical letters may lessen the impact.
==============================
Dear Honorable Officials:
The international community is appalled by images of whales herded into shallow bays where islanders slice their spines with long blades. Under the misguided notion God created whales for the Faeroese to butcher, men aboard boats gouge, spear, hack and bludgeon 2,000 to 3,500 long- and short-finned pilot whales.
Shockingly, these annual whale drives are carried out as festive recreation. Young children even take part in the community bloodbaths.
I remain committed to a boycott of Faeroe tourism until all whaling activity ceases in this North Sea Danish Protectorate. Plainly, the massacre of forcibly trapped whales is cruel. I cannot tour or otherwise support any society that condones senseless violence against animals. I urge government officials to legally shield wildlife from all forms of abuse, including the slaughter of whales for sport.
While different cultures may not understand each other’s customs, all rational humans comprehend cruelty. Tradition, entertainment and sport do not justify outright torture. Please permanently ban whale drives in the Danish Faeroe Islands.
Thank you,

It is time to apply pressure on Denmark – the Internet provides the ideal vehicle.
The World must become proactive in bringing this type of barbaric practice to an end!
