Support the Animal Fighting Prohibition Enforcement Act
Good news! On Thursday morning, March 8, a federal bill (S. 261) to help law enforcement crack down on animal fighting will be voted on in the Senate Judiciary Committee. Please take action and help this important bill clear the Senate Committee with flying colors.
This bill will upgrade the weak misdemeanor penalty in current federal law — making it a felony to transport an animal across state or international borders for animal fighting (such as dog fighting, cockfighting and hog-dog fighting).
