Campaign for America’s Wilderness: Help protect the Roan Plateau from irresponsible drilling!

Help protect the Roan Plateau from irresponsible drilling!
The Roan Plateau is a beautifully varied landscape of wide meadows, deep canyons, and gentle trout streams. Located in northwest Colorado, the plateau hosts aspen and spruce forests, towering cliffs, and dramatic waterfalls. The Roan Plateau attracts visitors for camping, sightseeing, world class deer and elk hunting, and backcountry fly fishing. But with your help, we can save the spectacular Roan Plateau. Tell your representative to vote for a funding limitation amendment that would postpone irresponsible oil and gas drilling for one year so a plan to protect the wilderness values of the area can be developed.
Tiny Violin Alert!: You know the, erm, “drill” - if you use the sample letter, cut out the part about how “drilling atop the plateau would ‘displace’ hunting and fishing outfitters who use the Roan”. Boohoo. I think I’ll save my concern for the fish y’all (they’all?) “displace” from their streams, thanks.
