PERMISSION TO CROSSPOST

Due to ever increasing spam blockers, Kinship Circle has recently had to delete ALMOST HALF ITS SUBSCRIBERS. After we post an alert, we receive hundreds of messages such as:

—– The following addresses had permanent fatal errors —–

(reason: 550 209.74.143.13 blocked by ldap:ou=rblmx,dc=comcast,dc=net -> BL003 Blocked for spam.

Kinship Circle ONLY subscribes members who REQUEST subscription. But due to those who have hit “junk mail” or placed a block on info [at] kinshipcircle.org or kinshipcircle [at] brick.net — instead of simply UNSUBSCRIBING FROM THE LIST — our email addresses have been blacklisted as spam by most providers.

Kinship Circle’s numbers are rapidly dwindling. And the smaller the circle, the less impact we have for animals.

Please take a moment to try the following suggestions to help our email alerts reach you.

If you are subscribed to Kinship Circle but don’t get all our alerts, try:

1. Enter info [at] kinshipcircle.org and kinshipcricle [at] brick.net into your address book.
2. Check your “spam” or “junk email” folders” to see if Kinship Circle alerts are there.
3. Reset your spam filter to “put suspect spam into spam filter” instead of “delete.”
4. Re-subscribe to Kinship Circle under a non-AOL or non-COMCAST email address.
5. Ask your email provider to remove info [at] kinshipcircle.org and kinshipcircle [at] brick.net from their “BLOCK” list.

Chances are about half of Kinship Circle subscribers won’t even get this alert. It will die a “spam filter” death. So if you manage an animal advocacy list that may benefit from this information, please pass this message along from your email address.

Thank you,
Brenda Shoss, Kinship Circle
