BACKGROUND:

The state of Georgia currently has a bill in committee to ban the gas chamber (the practice of using carbon monoxide gas chambers to kill unwanted animals) state-wide. Members are not in favor of the bill. Support for this bill is needed from GA citizens as well as nationwide. I want to flood the committee members with a SURGE of support.

CONTACT INFORMATION / TAKE ACTION:

Take 5 minutes to call and fax/email at least 2 committee members and politely tell them to vote YES to H.B. 1060 to ban gas chambers in Georgia. If these members vote NO, the bill will die.

- Tracking animal intake holds shelters accountable for their costs and how well they are doing the job.
