People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA): URGENT: Urge Virginia Beach Public Schools to Be Humane!
PETA was recently contacted by a number of distraught Virginia Beach residents who have learned that cruel glue traps are being used to trap mice in the city’s 96 schools and offices. PETA caseworkers have asked school officials to remove all glue traps from their buildings and campuses immediately and instead explore humane alternatives. While we understand that the school district might be looking into the matter further, we have not received confirmation that the glue traps are being pulled in the meantime.
