Special (bittersweet) wishes to all the human and non-human mothers of the world, wherever your children may be, as well as to the many “adopted” moms of cross-species companions.

To my own furkids, Ozzy, Ralphie, Peedee, O-Ren, Kaylee and Jayne: I know I can’t compensate for your estrangement from your own mothers, forced upon you by a speciesist society, but I’ll try my best to do right by you, now and always. I love you all so, so much.
